About Richard Lay
Richard Lay joined Pictet in April 2015 as Head of Equities Sales and Trading. He has held a number of senior positions spanning a career over 16 years in Equities across the UK, Hong Kong and Singapore. Prior to this he spent 5 years at Standard Chartered Bank Singapore building out and heading the Institutional Sales Trading.
Richard began his career in Prime Brokerage with UBS in London followed by Hong Kong. He then joined Lehman Brothers to help build out their platform in Asia and moved to Singapore. Cantor Fitzgerald then approached him to initiate their equity trading in South East Asia thereby rounding out his curriculum vitae.
Richard's wealth of institutional experience across a diverse client base has ensured his success in building and expanding sales and trading teams in Asia.
