About Eric Hamid

Eric Hamid is CEO of Pictet Overseas Inc. (SEC registered and member of FINRA) and CEO of Pictet Canada L.P. (IIROC member) also serving as Managing Director for Pictet Trading & Sales in the Americas. Eric has over 20 years of Capital Markets experience.

Prior to joining Pictet, Eric was Portfolio Manager at the Public Sector Pension Plan of the Canadian Government where he ran both systematic and discretionary Global Macro funds. Previously, he worked as a Floor Trader, serving as Co-Head of Trading for Refco on the Montreal Exchange, specializing in equity and interest rate derivatives.

Eric received a B.Sc. in Economics as well as a M.Sc in Financial Econometrics (summa cum laude) from the University of Montreal.
