Award process

The Prix Pictet aims to uncover photographs that communicate important messages about global environmental and social issues within the broad theme of sustainability. In arriving at their final decision on the award, thejudges make no distinction between photographs of different genres or photographic mediums. There are no specific criteria with respect to the age, nationality, or professional status.
